The beautiful room featured fine frescoes and offered a fantastic view over the city. The staff was attentive, especially the twin brothers at reception, who helped with luggage and even served tea in the room. While the building's charm was evident, some areas could use minor restoration to enhance the atmosphere. The location was perfect for accessing the old town, though noise from the nearby streets could be a concern at night.

The Hotel Iris is in a superb position. It is close to the bus station, 'cat step' road/path and public escalaters to the historical centre of Perugia. The room facilities are basic, but clean and comfortable. An excellent choice for a city stay on a budget. We'll definitely be visiting Perugia and Hotel Iris again.

The renovated room featured modern amenities while maintaining the charm of an old structure. Excellent proximity to the escalator accessing the old town means walking to landmarks requires minimal effort.
The entrance gate is notoriously easy to overlook, and parking is a bit cramped. Noise levels can be a concern due to the building's age, as sounds from neighboring rooms are easily transmitted.

Great location in the beginning of the storical centre. The rooms are very modern, not as all the other italian hotels, everything new and comfortable! Stuff very polite.
Far from the train station-4km, you have to take a bus line a to get there, but it costs not even 2 euros.

I visited this place with my partner and found the helpful staff. The location was near the bus station, which allowed us to explore nearby cities. The historic building added character, and we enjoyed our time here.
Some areas could use restoration, limited amenities

Hotel Iris is amazing location near the bus station. The staff were helpful, even helping us print football tickets! Got a charming old room with a nice modern bathroom. Just a bit noisy at night from the third bed.

The location and the price.
The booking web said that this hotel had Wireless Internet, but it was not available when I stayed there. It was a big problem for me, because I was travelling by work and I one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the internet.

Charming hotel with fine frescoes and a fantastic city view. The only downside, some spots could use restoration.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are beautiful decorated and furnished for a not too expensive hotel. You have discount in the restaurant for dinner and lunch and you can eat quite well for little money. The pizzas are excellent. You can choose a cheap Italian-style or a continental-style breakfast which is quite good. The rooms at the back of the hotel are the most quiet.
Hopefully they get the façade restored quite soon...
